Considering a possible Israeli attack, Iran asked Russia for help in satellite reconnaissance.

Axar.az reports that two Iranian officials spoke about this to the "New York Times" newspaper on the condition of anonymity.

"The Iranians are waiting for Israel's retaliatory strike. Therefore, they want Russia to conduct satellite reconnaissance in preparation for a possible attack by Israel. However, it is not clear how Moscow responded to Tehran's request," the report said.

It should be noted that Iran's foreign minister said earlier that the army is ready for a possible attack by Israel. The IDF stressed that against the background of a potential attack by the Jewish state, three Israeli power plants and several oil refineries could be struck.
